BACKGROUND & INFO:
My faerie creations started about 24 years ago (not counting my childhood endeavors!), and have evolved into what they are today (and are a stepping stone for future series!). As my early wings were made with twigs, vines, leaves and other natural materials, they couldn't keep up with the demands of a busy youngster, full of fanciful imagination. I now use sturdy fabrics that withstand rain, sun and occasional Troll attacks. I make and sell these nationwide, shipping (by air, of course!) to many U.S. states and Canada.
Every pair of my wings is a collectable piece of fine (wearable) art, no two alike, and each is hand-made and unique. This means many hours go into their creation. Therefore the prices reflect the work I put into them. Typically, a small set of wings will cost $50-70, and large pairs can go anywhere from $100-500. Custom made (large) wings are the ones that cost the most, as do my new painted wings collection, all depending on the amount of work and material. Faerie Ears cost $20-28, and my reproduction artwork prints cost $15-40. The wands are made of pin oak (very strong), a very magical wood for fae folk, and cost $19.
My reproduction poster of 'The Gathering' is from a graphite drawing I made of a possible encounter in a forest glade, with animals, insects, Faeries and Woodland Spirits conversing. I also included a favorite passage from 'The Stolen Child', by W.B. Yeats. I sign each poster in pencil, and ship them everywhere. Cost of the poster is $15, plus S&H (mailed in cardboard tube), about $4.
